Booking & Check-In

Information about bookings, payments and check-in.

Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

Standard check-in is 2pm and standard check-out is 10am.

For guaranteed arrival prior to 2pm, a room must be reserved from the previous night and therefore includes an additional nightly charge

Q: Do you require a security bond upon check-in?

All guests are required to provide a credit card imprint on arrival to cover any miscellaneous charges and to provide security on the apartment.

Where a credit card is not available a $100.00 cash deposit will be required. In addition, an acceptable form of photographic identification will need to be produced at the property prior to check-in.

Q: Is after hours check-in available?

Yes. If you advise us prior to arrival (during reception hours) we can arrange for our after hours Check-In service to assist you. Use telephone in the main entrance next to the front door.

Q: Can I have a late check-out?

Late check out up to 12 noon is at the discretion of the manager and must be requested the night before check out.

Late check out after 12 noon will incur the following additional charges applied to your hotel account:
12 noon to 4pm – $10 per hour
After 4pm the full daily rate applies

Q: When do I have to pay a deposit?

Year Round Bookings (except Shoulder and Peak Winter Seasons) - A Deposit of 1 night stay is required by credit card to confirm and hold your booking.

Making a booking will indicate acceptance of these booking conditions. 
 
Shoulder and Peak Winter Seasons - 50% Deposit at time of booking .

Q: When do I make final payment?

Year Round Bookings (except Shoulder and Peak Winter Seasons) - Final payment will be charged by the property on arrival, unless advised otherwise to you via email or telephone by the property.
 
Shoulder and Peak Winter Seasons -Balance will be charged to your credit card one month prior to arrival .

Prices listed include GST, where applicable. Confirmation and invoices are subject to re-issue if incorrect through error or omission and the guest accepts the liability to then pay the correct cost or to decline to retain the reservation.

Q: What if I have to cancel?

If more than 30 days notice is given there is a full refund less a $50 ADMINISTRATION FEE.
If less than 30 days notice is given there is NO REFUND.

Refunding deposits will be subject to an ADMINISTRATION FEE of $50.

No shows and cancellations on day of arrival will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee at the discretion of the property management.

It is highly recommended that all guests purchase travel insurance prior to commencing their holiday.

Q: What are the reception hours?

Monday to Sunday - 7.00am to 8.00pm.

Q: Can I book theme park tickets at reception?

Our staff are very knowledgable and happy to assist with information and make bookings with local tour operators for you.

Q: What should I bring?

One of the attractions of the high country is its weather. In summer it can go from sublime to very chilly in just a matter of hours.

You should always carry a jacket and hat on even the warmest days in Spring, Summer and Autumn.

If you plan walking or enjoying activities on the lake, be sure to pack plenty of sunblock.

Must-have items year-round are a hat, quality sunglasses, your camera and film. Bring strong shoes for off the beaten track and a day pack to carry all those little extras (perhaps even a bottle of wine for lunch!
